Gastric mucosal biopsy interpretation: Things that matter, those that don’t, and cases that keep you up at night

The purpose of this session is to provide a framework for approaching gastric biopsy interpretation. We will focus on developing the differential diagnosis for patterns of gastritis and gastropathy with an emphasis on conditions that are clinically important and actionable. We will also use a case-based discussion to illustrate key features that aid recognition of carcinoma and its distinction from benign mimics.
